Welcome to the Waldo County (Maine) Arts and Heritage Discovery Project—a community-based, grassroots effort to identify and inventory our county’s cultural resources; to strengthen our cultural life; and to protect our local heritage for the future. If you are, or know, a craftsperson, artisan, writer, storyteller, local historian, musician, dancer, boatbuilder, wreathmaker or calligrapher... If you work with an art center, museum, gallery, historical center or site, library or theater... If you are part of the thread that makes up the unique cultural and historic fabric of Waldo County... You are part of the Arts Discovery Project! This project is funded entirely be grants and donations, so there are no strings attached. Participation is free, so come join us.
